25 Kilo Bag Option for Creatine

Overview: What is Creatine?

Creatine is an organic compound that is found naturally within the body. It is usually sold as a white to off-white crystalline powder and has minimal taste or odour. Although there are many types of Creatine on the market (such as HCl and Ethyl Ester), the most common is Creatine Monohydrate.

Although your body produces Creatine itself on a daily basis, mass-manufactured Creatine is created by reacting sarcosine and cyanamide. Once heated and pressurised, it creates Creatine crystals. This is when centrifuged to remove unwanted particles before being dried, milled and packed. The fine powder milling makes it easier to dissolve (usually to around 200 Mesh).

Most alternative types of Creatine use Creatine Monohydrate as their base (being the most natural form of Creatine). The addition of other molecules and ingredients adds to the Creating's abilities in return for mildly less pure Creatine. For example, Creatine HCl allows for a faster uptake of Creatine, minimising the body's time to utilise it effectively. Additionally, Creatine Ethyl Ester uses the Creatine Monohydrate properties with less water retention as a side effect.

This product works by converting ADP back into ATP within the body. ATP fuels the body and allows for more exertion than usual. This comes in handy, especially for athletes and bodybuilders, as it will enable them to push themselves harder during training. The side effect of this is an improved level of development and physical gains. The effectiveness of Creatine is seen mainly over short bursts of exercise, especially when compared to sustained activity, however.

Creatine at Kilo Ltd.

You usually find Creatine sold on its own in a powder or tablet form primarily, although it is also found in a range of pre and post-workout mixtures along with several amino acids. Due to its specific purpose and use, generally, it is only found in these sports nutrition industry goods specifically. There is one exception, however. Hospitals and medicine use Creatine Monohydrate to help with muscle damage, repair, atrophy and prevent muscle degeneration.

At Kilo, we supply Creatine to many sports nutrition and pharmaceutical companies throughout the UK and Ireland. We usually provide this in 25kg bags, and from as little as a single bag to pallet lots and beyond. We source our goods from reputable sources who are sufficiently certified to fulfil our high standards. As a BRC Accredited supplier, we work alongside our sources to provide you with the highest product possible at competitive prices.

Should you need Creatine or any other ingredient, additive or preservative, feel free to get in touch, and we shall assist where possible. Call us on 01384 293 222 or use the buttons on the website, and we shall help as soon as possible.
